Dear Clinical Research colleagues,

Nominations are now open for the annual SCRCM (Society for Clinical Research Coordination and Management) Clinical Research CARE Awards 2022. This year’s CARE Award event will be held on September 22nd 1pm-2pm EST. Location will be determined closer to date of the event. Public health guidance will determine whether the event will be virtual or in-person

Please take some time to do the following:

1.       Nominate a Clinical Research colleague for the Award: Nominations can be made by any faculty or staff of the University of Pennsylvania community including Principal Investigators, Sub-Investigators, coordinators, research teams, and Department and Division administration and staff. Nominate a colleague by clicking here.

The nomination period starts today. Deadline for nominations is Friday August 8th 7:00PM EST to be considered for an award.  

There are 3 award categories to characterize and acknowledge the diverse range of talent within the world of clinical research at Penn. The Rising Star Award will be presented to a talented up and coming individual in clinical research. The Leading Edge in Clinical Research Award will be given to an individual who best exemplifies the spirit of ingenuity and inventiveness within clinical research and the Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to an awardee that, during their lifetime, has made consistently superior contributions of outstanding significance to the field of clinical research at the University of Pennsylvania. This nomination guide defines each Award category’s characteristics.
