As you know, the University has been engaged in a Human Capital Management (HCM) initiative comprised of Workday@Penn and Interfolio. Workday@Penn is a system designed to improve the way we manage the broad range of faculty affairs, human resources, payroll, and related processes. Interfolio, a multifunctional faculty information system, is the companion project to Workday. We anticipate that Interfolio will streamline faculty affairs administrative processes and advance our efforts toward the creation of an online dossier submission. Engagement with Interfolio at PSOM involves primarily those who administer faculty affairs actions, departmentally and institutionally, not individual faculty. The staff of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development are working with your department’s faculty coordinators in preparation for the implementation of Interfolio.

Attached is a memorandum from Anita Allen, Vice Provost for Faculty; Jeanne Curtis, and Mark Dingfield that provides additional details about Interfolio.
