Announcing Shelby Tulio as the Senior Coordinator for Academic Review - CHOP Specialist, PSOM Office of Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs in the Perelman School of Medicine is pleased to announce the newest member of our team,  Shelby Tulio.  In the role of Senior Coordinator for Academic Review - CHOP Specialist, Shelby will be a resource for department administration and faculty regarding University and PSOM policies, procedures and processes related to faculty affairs, particularly, but not exclusively, as it pertains to CHOP-based faculty.

Shelby Tulio was the Faculty Affairs Coordinator for the Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at CHOP for the past three years.  As the faculty coordinator, she created a manual for faculty candidates going through the initial appointment process which described all needed processes and materials, using information and creating examples specific to the department.  She also contributed to and supported CHOP faculty professional development efforts, which included working with the education and training coordinators to create a new process by which faculty members can request education evaluation data and receive a summary report of their quantitative data across all education categories.  Prior to working in faculty affairs, Shelby was a Resource Coordinator in Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics at CHOP, where she provided administrative support and assisted in grant submissions and database management.

We are confident that Shelby is an excellent match for this position and a strong asset to the Office of Academic Affairs.  Please join us in welcoming Shelby to our team.

Shelby succeeds Kimberly Haebel who is now serving as our Assistant Director of Academic Affairs & Diversity.
