Recognizing that design, implementation and reporting of clinical trials is a form of clinical science that requires a specialized skill set, ITMAT Education is pleased to announce a request for applications for its Junior Faculty Clinical Trials Fellowship (CTF). Applications are due January 8th for appointments beginning July 1, 2021. The CTF is designed to provide training through education, mentorship, and the provision of protected time.

Instructors or junior faculty, within the first three years of their academic appointment on the AC or CE tracks who are interested in facilitating the translation of preclinical studies into clinical trials are welcome to apply.  

To apply, candidates must submit a phase 1 trial concept with mentor support provided by an established clinical trialist. Applicants must have an MD degree and be an Instructor or Assistant Professor (in their first three years of appointment) as of July 1, 2021. Successful applicants will receive up to 25% protected time for a period of two years.
