CEET Translational Research Training Program in Environmental Health Sciences

The Center of Excellence in Environmental Toxicology is looking to fill an open postdoc slot on the Translational Research Training Program in Environmental Health Sciences (Funded by training grant T32 ES019851) and welcome applications for fellows in need of support who are doing research in one of the new thematic areas -Windows of Susceptibility. Details of the training program and application process are indicated below .

 

All applicants, must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Postdoctoral:

 

The postdoctoral research training is extensive and requires individuals to:

(a) take at least one course per semester from either the CEET Certificate Program or the additional courses offered to pre-doctoral trainees;
(b) participate in all training grant- related activities;
(c) complete both the compulsory and optional elements of the intramural training program offered by Biomedical Postdoctoral Programs; and
(d) attain additional mentoring from the Career Development Core of the CEET.

  • Letter of application which addresses a commitment to Environmental Health Science;
  • Letter of sponsorship from current mentor. The letter should emphasize the environmental health aspects of training.
  • Description of research project.
  • Current NIH biosketch or updated resume.
  • Personal statement

 

(External candidates must also provide three letters of recommendation and must have identified a Training Grant Faculty member as a sponsor.)
