Plan to join us for the DBEI & CCEB Research Day and Strom Visiting Professorship Lecture, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Smilow Center for Translational Research. After an 8 a.m. breakfast, we’ll feature a series of short talks by our research competition winners, and our division leaders will take you behind the scenes of our latest innovations in biostatistics, epidemiology and informatics.

Following lunch, at 1 p.m., we will present our Brian L. Strom Visiting Professorship Lecture by Michael V. McConnell, MD, MSEE, head of cardiovascular health innovations at Verily (formerly Google) Life Sciences and Clinical Professor at Stanford University. Dr. McConnell focuses on mobile/digital health, with a strong emphasis on cardiovascular-disease prevention and management, and novel mobile/wearable devices.
