Lee Fleisher, MD & Steven Joffe, MD, MPH

This 6-week course pairs two 3-week topics. In the second half taught by Dr. Joffe and Dr. Largent, students will explore a framework for conducting research, including process improvement experiments, in health care, and learn to critically evaluate the ethics of their research proposals and justify them to participants, stakeholders, and review boards.

Penn employees may use tuition benefits towards this course. This course is part of the Master of Health Care Innovation (MHCI) curriculum. A 4-course Certificate for Penn faculty and staff is also available. Credits earned may be transferred into the MHCI.
