The impact of COVID-19 on childcare has been profound. As more individuals are required to be onsite, the impact is even greater. Given that we will be living with COVID for quite some time, PennMedicineTogether explored options to help families expand their childcare options. Komae is a cooporative childcare app that provides help to parents who are increasing their time onsite at a Penn Medicine entity. The app allows you to identify and vet families with similar parenting styles and COVID-19 hygiene practices in hopes of finding a match to share childcare.

We have collaborated with Komae to provide a variety of Getting Started resources, including three webinars where you can ask questions about the program.
