• Medical malpractice

• Current law and policy challenges (access to care, health insurance and patient coverage, human rights perspectives, tackling drug costs, and patient claims to pre-approval access)
• Legal issues relevant to special populations (mental illness and disability, pregnant women, patients in need of organ transplant, and patients at the end of life)
• Legal parameters of public health authorities, FDA regulation of pharmaceutical products, and the law of research with human subjects.
