As part of the 100 years of research celebration, you’re invited to attend a new five-part series called “Meet the Experts – The Story Behind the Breakthrough,” held in a conversational format with Maiken Scott, host and executive producer of WHYY’s weekly health and science show, “The Pulse,” who will serve as the interviewer/moderator.

“Meet the Experts” first guest will be Katherine High, MD, a gene therapy pioneer at CHOP and Penn, and co-founder of Spark Therapeutics. Dr. High will share her career path, explore the trials and tribulations of successful breakthroughs,and discuss future opportunities for the field.
