The Northeast Group on Educational Affairs is pleased to support our community of educators along the continuum of medical education by providing support for professional development, for advancing scholarship and research, and by promoting innovation in medical education. Please read below about the many opportunities to advance your scholarship and professional development through the NEGEA and deadlines to submit your grant proposals.
 


2020 NEGEA COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH GRANTS
Call for Proposals 
 

The NEGEA provides funding to initiate new Medical Education Scholarship Research and Evaluation (MESRE) projects. The NEGEA seeks to stimulate the development of a community of educational scholars and thus is especially interested in projects promoting collaboration across institutions or across sections (UME, GME, CPD).
 
Multiple research grants will be funded for up to a two-year period in either of the two NEGEA Collaborative Research Grant Award categories:

Projects involving one NEGEA institution: $3,000 up to a two-year period

Projects involving the collaboration of two or more different NEGEA-affiliated institutions: $6,000 up to a two-year period

2020-2021 NEGEA SCHOLARS GRANTS 

Call for Proposals
 

The NEGEA provides this funding opportunity for a 2-year grant for early and mid-career faculty to complete an educational scholarship or research project. This grant provides an individual the opportunity for professional development through the design, implementation, and completion of a high-quality educational scholarship project (including curriculum development, educational program, or educational research).
