For all Penn Medicine staff that need to access the floors in the Pavilion

Starting Monday, February 6, 2023, all employee staff elevator kiosks at the Pavilion will be locked and require staff to utilize their HUP employee ID badge to access all floors when using the staff elevators. In order for staff ID badges to function on the elevator kiosks, employees will need to have an up-to-date badge.

Any employee who currently has a badge reading “no chip” will need to contact the HUP Security Badging Office for an updated ID badge between now and the activation of elevator kiosks on 2/06/2023.    If your present badge does not have “NO CHIP” on the back, you are good to go!!!

The most efficient way to obtain a “chip” badge is to email us at HUPSecurityBadgingOffice@uphs.upenn.edu and request an updated badge.  Badge will be ready for pick up in 48 hours.
