New Research Portal and Grant Financial Management Tool Now Available!

The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is excited to announce the release of two new information systems to support you accessing research systems and financial information about your sponsored research. The first new tool is the Research Portal: a personalized homepage and launch point to the research information systems that you are currently using. The homepage includes a Current Funding financial widget that will provide you with easy access to the grants for which you are currently the principal investigator so that you can easily see information regarding budget spent, budget encumbered, and budget remaining, time remaining, and a high-level expense breakdown on each of your grants.

 

The Research Portal will connect you to the various research information systems in use at Penn, including the new Grant Financial Management (GFM) system that is now live and available for your use. We encourage you to use GFM to view detailed fund information and budget projections, and to collaboratively review transactions with your BA.
