October 2023 Research Mentor Trainings
ITMAT Education is partnering with BGS, BPP, and the MSTP to provide two mentor training workshops this fall. Attendance at a workshop meets NIH T32 grant, MSTP, and BGS requirements of 2 hours of mentorship training. This training is recommended for someone who has not completed any prior training or those would like a refresher session.
The Training

Fostering Mentee Belonging & Self-Efficacy

Eligible Participants
-
Perelman School of Medicine Assistant, Associate and Full Professors actively mentoring or planning to mentor research trainees (predoctoral students and postdoctoral trainees).

Non PSOM Faculty who mentor individuals appointed to T32 training grants
-
Prior training is not a pre-requisite.

Tuesday, October 17 at 12:30 – 2:30 PM in BRB 251

Both workshops are identical - you only need to sign up for one.
Each session will be capped at 60 registrants.
