Penn Resilience and Well-Being Program for Penn School of Medicine Physicians

In collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania’s Positive Psychology Center, the Penn School of Medicine is offering a one-day Resilience and Well-being course tailored for Faculty. The program will take place September 20th 2019, 830am-4pm at Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine Building, South Pavilion 15th floor-Collaboration Room

 

The goal of this program is to teach actionable resilience and well-being skills to Penn School of Medicine faculty for application in their personal and professional lives.

There are limited seats and registration is first-come, first-served.

 

Your registration includes all course materials, refreshments and lunch.

 

Although there is no fee to register, this course costs $200 per person and will be supported by Penn Medicine Faculty Wellness Initiatives.  We expect this course to be very popular so only register if you truly plan on coming.

It is our hope that this highly experiential course will help you to learn skills to respond productively to stress and adversity, build stronger relationships, and enhance energy and well-being.

 

Penn’s Positive Psychology Center is widely recognized as a leading organization for state-of-the-art, evidenced-based resilience and well-being programs. The Center’s director is Dr. Martin Seligman, the founder of Positive Psychology, scholar and best-selling author of Flourish, Authentic Happiness, and Learned Optimism. The course will be led by Dr. Karen Reivich who is the Director of Resilience and Positive Psychology Training Programs. Dr. Reivich has published extensively in academic journals and is the co-author of The Resilience Factor and The Optimistic Child.
