The Office of Academic Affairs is hosting this valuable course for new faculty with clinical responsibilities as part of the Onboarding for Teaching Program. Registration is free andaccessible to all faculty.
Faculty will learn to describe the ERASE (Expect, Recognize, Address, Support Encourage) Framework to colleagues, apply the ERASE Framework to respond to discriminatory patient behaviors while engaged in clinical duties with or without trainees present, and apply the ERASE Framework to debrief with trainees after a discriminatory patient behavior
It will take you approximately 30-60 minutes per week to participate in this session. Participation is asynchronous and independent.
