One of the challenges in the current pandemic is how, and where, to properly care for COVID-19 patients once they leave the hospital. Many patients recovering from COVID-19 will need ongoing care to recover from hospitalization, but current models of post-acute in nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, and home health agencies are ill-suited to care for them.
