The Workshops

• will provide practical strategies to enhance mentor skills in:
  • Fostering Mentee Belonging & Self-Efficacy 
  • Providing Effective Feedback
  • Effective Communication:  how to reveal the “hidden curriculum”, consider assumptions we may have, and approaches to validate unique identities of mentees

Eligible Participants

• Perelman School of Medicine Assistant, Associate and Full Professors actively mentoring or planning to mentor research trainees (predoctoral students and postdoctoral trainees).  
• Non PSOM Faculty who mentor individuals appointed to T32 training grants
• Prior training is not a pre-requisite.

Both workshops are identical. Each session will be capped at 50 registrants.  It is likely registration will fill quickly.  We encourage you to register asap to reserve your spot!
